I’ve decided to pace the weekend because it looks big, freaking, and excellent.
Saturday will make or break you so pace yourself, as we find some events that go all the way into the wee morning.
Friday
Start off early by heading over to the Opening Reception of COLLECTIVE AESTHETICS (7PM-11PM)

Then DANCE at the monthly, Cookies for the Crook where fresh cookies are served regularly and the art is custom made for the event.
This month’s event features an onslaught of some of LA’s hottest underground DJs.
Headliner is NGUZUNGUZU what Cookies describes as “LA’S BEST KEPT SECRET. HAILING FROM THE HILLS OF CHINATOWN.” They’ve worked official remixes of MAD DECENT’S MALUCA AND BURAKA SOM SISTEMA.

Saturday – Here comes the big one…
DANCEiSM 2 Year anniversary. My my, it doesn’t seem like it’s been that long since the 1 year. Let alone when it started.
The definitive house party gone wild. I tend to describe it as the atmosphere you might find at a great house party, everyones socializing, having fun, drinking and then throw in a huge D.A.N.C.E.! and you go DANCEiSM.

After DANCEiSM’s end at 4AM, head right over to the next warehouse party, it goes to 7AM…

The headliner is DJ Three a semi-laidback up beat techno-funk mix. Droid’s got their name on it which always mean realll good Techno things, Dean Paul always kills it.
Expect the crowd to be a lil older as many people are warehouse regulars from the raves in 90s.
If you want to get into the underground warehouse scene, this is a great opportunity as other flyers will be handed out to similar events.
